Track record.

Since 2010, we have been excelling at the intersection between technology, investment and science. Greenhouse Capital has provided strategy, insight and access to the capital necessary for some of the best and most disruptive tech companies in New Zealand to achieve their aspirations.

Transactions and finance.

Real estate tech business sale to a listed entity ($24m)

An innovative New Zealand business had set out to streamline and improve the processes of the traditional real estate industry, and their established product caught the eye of a much larger company. We led a team of specialists to prepare the business for sale, negotiate valuation and confirm exit terms. The transaction was hugely successful, with a superior return of over $20m for our client.

Capital raise and transaction support – recycling sector ($8m)

Following counterparty negotiations, our competitive bid was successful.

Strategy development and capital raise for a professional services entity ($3m)

Greenhouse developed a targeted high-growth business strategy alongside a successful capital raising programme. This delivered over $3m of new funding for the business. We then oversaw the deployment of these funds, and are proud to report that revenue increased >200% in the first quarter of operation for this business.

Turnaround strategy (and execution) for Agri Assets ($5m)

Our strategy was aimed at greater returns and more sustainable, climate-resilient infrastructure. We managed the sale of assets that did not align with the new direction of this agriculture company and oversaw a pivot into higher value dairy product production. Greenhouse Capital prioritised new technology and capex in ensuring long term benefits for this company.

Strategy and business analysis.

Strategy development for the Electric Vehicle Industry Association

New Zealand’s largest electric vehicle not-for-profit entity was in need of a strategy overhaul. Greenhouse redirected their strategy in order to help them better deliver advocacy across technology and infrastructure deployment, government policy, environmental policy and human health. The refreshed strategy better reflects the forward-thinking ideals of the electric vehicle movement in New Zealand, and has identified opportunities for faster growth and more effective advocacy.

Northland Iwi advisory

"Greenhouse Capital led a complex and multi-faceted negotiation that resulted in the very rewarding sale of my business.

Complex negotiations such as this require a breadth and depth of skills rarely found in one place, but Greenhouse Capital possessed the technical skills and the relationship management skills to make the process flow as smoothly as possible.

Greenhouse delivered a better than anticipated outcome, but what impressed me most was the extent of the wrap-around support in the form of technical expertise, negotiating skills and people management. Having all of these elements in one place was the difference between an 'ok' result and a great one."
